History of Olympic Logos

One of my very favorite blogs ISO50 has a great post chronically past Olympic logos produced for their respective host cities. Going all the way back to 1924 it’s a real treat. My personal favorites include the 1932 Los Angeles games, Athens in 04 and I really like the 2012 London Games logo. If you’ve caught Olympic fever I highly recommend it.
Tacoma’s Mystery Tunnels

There’s a fascinating piece on the BLDGBLOG about some mysterious tunnels that have been found running under Tacoma and Portland. Various local legends have formed around these underground structures over the years and the Federal Government actually documented some of these accounts in the 1930’s. It’s an excellent article and well worth the time for any Northwest history buff.
