kmalexander – Founder of Subpar
KM is a designer who worked for several tech companies in Spokane while living in nearby Post Falls. He started Subpar out of a desire to encourage the level of design and cultural understanding in the Spokane / CDA region to “not be subpar”. He has recently moved to Seattle with his wife and he currently works for Picnik.
mpknecht - Contributing Writer
Mpknecht is a designer and artist in Spokane and currently does the bulk of the writing for Subpar, carrying on in the tradition started by KM. Mpknecht’s desire is to see the art community of Spokane / CDA reach new levels of vibrancy and to become more visible and relevant to the rest of the community. His personal works can be viewed at his website mpknecht.com and he currently works at Quisenberry in Spokane.
