Sennheiser’s Eco-Friendly Packaging
April 21, 2008
The Dieline posted this yesterday (Looks like they found it from the Design Muse) and I had to share with all of you as well. It just goes to show that eco-friendly packaging can also be beautiful. From Design Muse: The packaging is made from cardboard and is 100% recyclable – no nasty plastic clam shell to clog up land fills. Nice work all around. Defaced Dollars
April 21, 2008
Money is awesome, money as an art form is even more awesome.
I found this flickr pool this morning and I knew I had to share. Full pool here. The posted 20 is dedicated to my friend Scot who oddly is a big fan of not just Andrew Jackson but also KISS.
ILT on Choosing Type
April 7, 2008
I love Typography. Sadly typography is often overlooked by students of design. If there is one thing to really make a designer stand out it’s subtle, professional, and unique uses of type. I love Typography is a great blog, and they made a great post on choosing type. John does a great job explaining everything from choosing san or san serif fonts, to remembering to honor the content, to remembering to read the content. It’s a great post and even if you are a typography expert it’s always nice to get a refresher, so go read it.
Photography of Ryan McGinley
April 4, 2008
Ryan McGinley’s website is making the blog rounds as we speak and I can’t pass up the chance to recommend the truly amazing collection of images on his website. Amazing color, movement, freedom and expression. It’s rare in this society that is so saturated by images (especially photographs) that you see something that makes you stop in your tracks and reminds you truly of the beauty of humanity. I find the spirit of these photos to be incredibly invigorating and hauntingly beautiful.
